I did blog the first link earlier on but feel its worth a mention again plus adding these other links.
Although not really of any relevance commercially bar maybe small printing outfits, it seems the love for old fashioned letterpress from a bygone era by designers and creatives alike knows no bounds. Personally I think its great that something which seems likely to completely die out is being kept alive (albeit very niche). From my perspective its also interesting as we still commercially use Vandercook presses in our prototyping department, small runs of course but very high quality wet proof's or packaging mockups are regularly delivered to large companies and designers, often with big contracts at stake.
As parts wear out and become more and more scarce maybe I can start a small business stockpiling bits and bobs so this attractive and nostalgic method of printing never dies out completely.
